NYC or BUST!

So much has been going on in the past month.  I have some amazing news to share.  In just 2 short weeks, I will be traveling to the Hamptons for a shoot.  A huge event for a spa to include models, exclusive products and celeb appearances.  Better news? I will be the ONLY photographer with access to shoot this event.  I am more then excited and honored to be chosen for this event and can not wait to get rolling.  Aside from that! I have 5 modeling shoots booked for the NYC area.  I am beginning to get my name out in a very tough market.  With any luck, I will be able to come on board with a few agencies for modeling test shoots and ad campaigns.  -- Keep pushing for that dream!

Love the way you do what you do

Doing my best to keep up with the Valentine Boudoir rush, the ladies that allow me to post some images get a little tease show on FB for all of their friends.  I have to say, these are my biggest comment and like images.  Not that I don't understand this.  A woman posing aggressively and assertively in a bra and panty set screams attention.  I love the comments of how sexy and jaw dropping the image is.  What they never realize is that the session itself is NEVER as HOT as the finished portrait.  There is mostly laughing, cheering by boudoir companions and many many funny guy talk stories behind these shoots.   What can I say, women know how to turn it on and off in seconds.  I love what I do and photography is definitely a fun career.

Drop your Pants at the Door

Today while in Rochester for a boudoir party, I had the pleasure of meeting some amazing personalities.  Which ususally happens during these types of photography shoots.  My make up artist Melissa Stillman was on hand with her usual hysterical antics, paired up with a hair stylist and a brazillian wax artist - I will call her, as she is known to be the best in her business.  This trio proved to be the highlight of my day as well as the most colorful group I have yet to work with.  Though their personalities are much more open then my own, I found myself laughing and blushing while changing my lenses.  It was another great day in the land of photography.
